A small house, run from Scotland
Bertram's Veranda is a jewellery house dressed as a fictional grand hotel. Each piece is made by hand by Haleema, in a small studio in Scotland. The work moves between sterling silver, clay, and resin — three materials worked together until they behave like one.
One of a kind
Nothing here is mass-produced. Pieces are made in ones and twos. Small variations between them are part of the craft, not a defect. When a piece is gone, it is usually gone for good — though a close cousin may turn up later.
The brand, as a place
We like to think of Bertram's Veranda as a hotel that does not quite exist. There is a concierge, a lobby, a veranda where the light is always late afternoon. The jewellery is what guests leave behind. You are welcome to stay as long as you like.
